Sansepolcro is in Valtiberina,  a very interesting point among Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Emilia Romagna.

Freeway E45, linking Cesena to Rome, crosses the valley longitudinally; from northern Italy you can take the Highway up to Arezzo or A14 to Cesena. From southern Italy, you can either take the E45 from Orte to Cesena, or Highway up until Arezzo.

The closest airports are Florence, Perugia, Rimini, Forlì, Bologna, and Ancona.

A regional train company (FCU) crosses the valley and links Sansepolcro to Perugia, travelling through the Umbrian countryside.

From Sansepolcro you can visit other cities or villages rich in nature, culture, art and history.
